A gluten free twist on the classic cereal bars.
A sweet summer treat!
3 Tbsp Butter
4 cups mini Marshmallows
4 cups Gluten Free Cereal (I am using Honey Nut Cheerios)
4 cups Gluten Free Cereal (I am using Honey Nut Cheerios)
1/2 cup sweetened flaked Coconut
1/4 cup chopped Pecans
Melt the butter over medium/low heat in a large sauce pan or Dutch oven. Add the marshmallows and stir until melted. Remove from the heat and stir in the cereal, coconut and pecans. Transfer the mixture to a buttered 8x8 inch baking pan. It will be very sticky, so I use a buttered spatula (hands work too!) and press the mixture evenly onto the bottom of the pan.
Cool completely and cut into squares.
