Prepared in under 10 minutes this is a creamy classic pasta dish that is elegant enough to serve to guests. It is a family favorite at our house and is a fast go-to meal made with ingredients that I usually have in my pantry and refrigerator.
1 box Gluten Free Spaghetti
(Barilla is our favorite)
1 cup Heavy Cream
2 Eggs
1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese, grated
1/4 cup bacon, cooked and crumbled
Cook spaghetti according to package instructions.
While the pasta is cooking, whisk together the cream, eggs, cheese and bacon.
When the pasta is done, drain and return it to the pot. Pour over the creamy mixture and stir. The heat from the pasta will cook the eggs, but if you are nervous about raw eggs, you can heat the pasta over very low heat for 1-2 minutes. Be careful not to overheat and scramble the eggs. Serve immediately and top with more grated Parmesan cheese.
