This simple casserole is has all the flavors of Swiss Fondue.
My family raves every time I make it.
1 large Cauliflower
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup Gluten Free Bisquick
1 cup Milk
1/2 cup White Wine
1/4 cup Emmental cheese, grated
1/4 cup Gruyere cheese, grated
1/2 cup slivered Almonds
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Break the cauliflower into florets and steam until tender.
In a small sauce pan, melt the butter and add the Gluten Free Bisquick.
Cook for one minute.
Pour in wine and cook until it starts to thicken.
Pour in the milk. Stir constantly until the sauce starts to thicken.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Remove from heat.
Arrange the cauliflower in lightly oiled baking dish.
Top the cauliflower with the cheeses.
Spread the sauce over top.
Sprinkle evenly with the almonds.
Bake for 25-30 minutes.
